Protect your VISA card online with a personal password. Your verified by VISA password helps ensure that only you can use your VISA card number to make online purchases.

Once your card is activated, your card number will be recognized whenever you make a purchase at participating online stores. You'll enter your password in the Verified by VISA window, your identity will be verified and the transaction will be completed. In stores that are not yet participating, your VISA number will continue to work as usual.

To enroll in this service, log on to www.visa.com/verified and enter your VISA account number. You will be instructed to enter specific personal information during the authentication process. You will then establish a password and hints to help you remember the password.
